The Police have arrested two young people in connection with incidents that occurred last night in Larnaca. They will appear before the Larnaca District Court today for immediate registration of a case against them in connection with offences relating to brawling, causing a disturbance and disturbing the peace.
According to Larnaca Police Department Press Secretary Spyros Chrysostomou, at around 2130 yesterday, a fight broke out between young foreigners on Athens Avenue in Larnaca.
As Mr. Chrysostomou reported, “members of the Larnaca Police Department went to the area where the participants had already dispersed.”
He added that in relation to the incidents, testimony was obtained against two foreign individuals, aged 20 and 21, who were arrested and will be presented today before the Larnaca District Court for immediate registration of a case against them in relation to offenses involving fighting, causing concern and disturbing the peace.
