Implementing the decisions of yesterday's meeting at the Presidential Palace, today Tuesday between the hours of 6-11, an operation was carried out in the Saint Nickolas apartment complex, in Chloraka, with the aim of registering the tenants.
According to the press representative of ADE Paphos and Head of TAE Paphos Michalis Nikolaou, he noted that all the 250 apartments were checked.
He also pointed out that the details of 81 persons, of Arab and African origin, namely 39 men, 17 women and 25 minors, were identified and recorded.
As part of the ongoing operation, 2 men were immediately arrested for information verification.
One of the two eventually moved on, was in Cyprus legally and was released. For the second still to clarify his residence status.
Mr. Nikolaou stated that the second person arrested resisted during the arrest, resulting in the injury of two YAM members who are being examined at the Paphos Hospital.
