Turkey is building a military hospital in the occupied territories

The military hospital will be built on land used by the occupying Turkish army.

The "cabinet" decided to publish in the "official newspaper" the protocol between the "tdbk" and Turkey for the construction of a new military hospital in the occupied Kyrenia with a capacity of 100 beds and to be notified to the "parliament".

The "protocol" was signed on January 6, 2021 in Ankara and on November 23, 2021 in occupied Nicosia by the then so-called Minister of Transport, Resmiye Janaltay and the Turkish Minister of Defense, Hulusi Akar, under a "public agreement" between in Turkey and the pseudo-state for 2021, signed on March 3, 2021.

According to the protocol, the military hospital will be built on land used by the occupying Turkish army. The coordination and approval of the projects and procedures will be done by the "tdbk", while the controls and inspections will be carried out by the Turkish Ministry of Defense in cooperation and coordination with the "competent ministry" of the regime.

The Turkish Ministry of Defense and / or the company that will undertake the project will be able to use personnel, materials and machinery both from abroad and from the occupied ones.

The so-called Ministry of Transport is obliged to secure in time the "residence and work permits" for the staff that will be employed in the project as well as the "permits" for infrastructure, communications, electricity, water and roads. The regime is also obliged to pay the costs for the "work permits" and other expenses of all the staff of the Turkish Ministry of Defense and / or the company that will undertake the project and to exempt from taxes the materials, equipment and machinery that will come from abroad to be used in the construction of the building.
