A second death due to heatstroke has been recorded on Saturday afternoon. According to information from the Health Ministry, a second death was recorded with the cause of death being heatstroke.
The incident concerns an 84-year-old woman, who was admitted on June 14 to the Nicosia General Hospital with a diagnosis of heatstroke by the treating doctors. Today, 3 people (2 men and 1 woman) continue to be treated at the Nicosia General Hospital with heat stroke. Their condition is considered serious.
