The dates for the payment of pensions, allowances and Christmas Gifts, announced the Ministry of Labor.
In view of the festive season, the necessary arrangements have been made for the payment of all pensions and allowances before Christmas, as noted in an announcement.
Specifically:
A. Regarding social benefits deposited by remittance, the following have been planned:
- The Minimum Guaranteed Income, including the Christmas Gift, will be in the accounts of the beneficiaries on 10/12/2021
- The monthly allowances provided by the Department of Social Integration of People with Disabilities to people with disabilities, will be in the accounts of the beneficiaries on 17/12/2021
- The monthly special pensions and benefits to the beneficiaries from the Victims Relief Fund, including the Christmas Tip that concerns them, will be in the accounts of the beneficiaries on 10/12/2021
- The Child Allowance and the Single Parental Allowance will be in the accounts of the beneficiaries on 10/12/2021
- Sponsorship of Veterans and Widows of World War II Veterans will be in the accounts of the beneficiaries on 10/12/2021
- The Christmas Gift for beneficiaries of the Mother Tribute Plan will be in the accounts of the beneficiaries on 15/12/2021
- The Low Income Retirement Allowance (small check for low-income retirees) will be in the accounts of the beneficiaries on 15/12/2021
- The Christmas Gift for Beneficiaries of the Low Income Retirement Aid Scheme (Low pensioners) will be in the accounts of the beneficiaries on 16/12/2021
B. Regarding social benefits for which checks are issued, the following have been planned:
- The checks of the Public Aid and the Christmas Gift for those who receive a monthly Public Aid, will be sent to the beneficiaries on 10/12/2021 with a redemption date of 14/12/2021
The checks of the Public Aid and the Christmas Gift for those who receive extraordinary Public Aid will be sent to the beneficiaries on 03/12/2021 and 13/12/2021 with a redemption date of 08/12/2021 and 15/12/2021 respectively,
The checks for the trapped, including the monthly allowance and the Christmas Gift will be delivered to the beneficiaries through the United Nations on 15/12/2021 (after consultation with the Humanitarian Office). It is noted that the allowances for trapped Maronites will be paid by direct transfer to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries on 14/12/2021
Checks for applicants for international protection will be sent to the beneficiaries on 17/12/2021 with a redemption date of 21/12/2021
C. Finally, the payment of pensions as well as the Special Benefit to Persons with Thalassemia of the Social Insurance Fund, the Social Pension and the special increase of the Institutionalized Pension (Honorary Allowance) of December 2021 as well as their 13th payment, will be made on 16/12/2021.
