The cause of death was not revealed by the autopsy performed on Monday on the body of Marios Patsalos, 30, from Nicosia, who had been missing since noon on Saturday in the sea area of Larnaca airport.
According to cross-referenced information from KYPE, the legal autopsy performed today at the Larnaca General Hospital by Medical Examiner Nikolas Charalambous did not indicate the cause of death, however samples were taken which will be sent for the necessary histopathological examinations.
It is recalled that Marios Patsalos, 30 years old from Nicosia, was found dead on Sunday in the sea area near Larnaca airport, at a depth of 18 meters. The National Search and Rescue Plan "NEARCHOS" had been activated since Saturday to locate him.
