On Saturday, March 15, 2025, the United Cypriot Hunters Movement is organizing a protest, demanding the immediate regulation of the decree which, as they claim, affects hunters and limits their capabilities.

As Active Citizens - United Cypriot Hunters Movement, we will not remain watching with folded arms the unacceptable Hunting Dog Training Decree issued by the Hunting Service.
The Hunter is one for us and we will constantly come forward to claim for everyone with all our strength.
We may not yet have the strength and ability to claim what we are deprived of, but we will not remain indifferent to the inequalities and injustices that are created to the detriment of the Hunting Community.

As we came forward and demanded from the Political Parties the establishment of a Legislative Framework for the uncontrolled action of Self-Proclaimed Activists, As we came forward for the uncontrolled licensing of photovoltaic parks in our habitats, As we came forward demanding from the Parliament and the political parties stricter penalties for the Poaching of Endemic Game, offering solutions and suggestions, As we came forward and demanded the strengthening and support of the Anti-Poaching League
THIS IS HOW WE WILL MOVE FORWARD AGAIN, WITH HAND ON HEART, WITH THE PERSPECTIVE AND MORALITY THAT DRIVES US, WITH EVERY HUNTING SENSE,
ON SATURDAY 15.03.25 demanding the immediate regulation of the grossly unfair and erroneous planning regarding teachers.
We now demand the immediate allocation of more Zero Interest areas, the allocation of permanent restricted areas and other restricted areas for the training of our young dogs, which are currently only being infested by poachers and predators.
According to your failed program of the last 25 years, there should have been an abundance of game. Instead, you have led us to game poverty and hunting decline.
A program that is not based on any scientific study, and that tends to impose your vile practices and hunting discord.
WE CALL on all competent bodies, the Cyprus Hunting Federation, the Game and Fauna Service to immediately redress the injustice against all hunting dog owners, who in addition to the above were summoned and also paid the price to be able to train and exercise their gun companions.
We inform all fellow Hunters and Hunting Dog Owners that the ultimate responsibility for adding other areas lies with KOK&DAZ.
If other areas are granted, the Hunting Service will proceed with the issuance of the relevant Decree.
We call on all Hunters to stand by the owners of hunting dogs in solidarity and with a sense of responsibility.
Only by standing united next to each other will we succeed in claiming everything that is ours and that has been denied us for so many years.
The presence of all of you is essential.
On Saturday 15/3 we will proceed with the blockade of 2 key points.
1. The Paphos District and the Limassol District will proceed with the blockade of the Troodos Roundabout. The meeting point will be at 11:00 at the Themistoklio Stadium (under the Limassol General Hospital). At 11:45 there will be a departure from there for the blockade of the Troodos Roundabout. 2. The District of Famagusta, Larnaca and Nicosia will meet in the parking lot of the Cosmyria banquet hall, at 11:00 and at 11:45 we proceed with the closure of the Rizoelia Roundabout in all directions.
