Dr. Pana revealed that on the day of the incidents in Limassol, a young doctor with three children had died. "We are tired and we feel phobic as a result of such behaviors, but we must understand that the state is us."
He stressed that winter is difficult and everyone must understand the result of a gathering of 1000 people. "There was no targeting of the area, but we wanted to help the area so that the outbreak does not spread throughout Cyprus."

As for the measures taken by countries such as China and Taiwan, he explained that they have completely different mechanisms of epidemic management due to their experience, while adding that they followed a different strategy. "China has very good control systems and a different regime for enforcing the measures. "Europe is taking a different approach."
Finally, he said that Europe is taking initiatives to improve its preparations for such events. "There are enough volunteers, so let's all work together to speed up the process to control the situation."
