Yesterday, the Police arrested two people, aged 30 and 29, during incidents that occurred after the end of the football match between Apollon and Ethnikos Achnas.
After the end of the match, which was held at the Alpha Mega Stadium, in Limassol, a group of about 20 fans moved towards the entrance, which leads to the stadium offices. They were stopped by members of the Police, resulting in tension, with fans throwing objects at the officers. To de-escalate the situation, the members of the Police used tear gas, while they arrested two persons, aged 30 and 29, for obvious crimes.
The Police Station of Episkopi and the TAE of Limassol continue the examinations.
