A letter of thanks to the President of the Republic Mr. Nikos Anastasiadis was sent by Pope Francis, expressing his satisfaction with the result of his visit to Cyprus.
In his letter, Pope Francis thanks President Anastasiadis and his family for the warm welcome they received during his recent visit to Cyprus, noting that he met a wise man in the person of the President of the Republic.
He also expressed his wishes for peace, fraternal cooperation and prosperity to all Cypriots. ΄
Finally, Pope Francis wished President Anastasiadis every success in his duties and his constant contribution to the Cypriot people.
