A Cypriot expatriate family is stranded in Khartoum, Sudan, according to the Ministry's press representative, Theodoros Gotsi.
As Mr. Gotsis mentioned speaking to Mesimeri and Kati, "in Khartoum there are some families of Cypriot origin. A family has been confirmed to remain in Khartoum. They are people who have grown up in the country and know how to protect themselves. It is a family consisting of ten people and they remain in their homes," he said.
In closing, he mentioned that the rest of the families had left because of Easter.
