Members of the Police (OPE Limassol), shortly before 11.00 last night, proceeded to arrest a 36-year-old man, who they spotted moving suspiciously on foot, in an area of Limassol. After a check on the 36-year-old, they found in his possession a number of screwdrivers, a small amount of cannabis, and a brand-name wristwatch, for the possession of which he did not give satisfactory explanations.
The members of the Police specifically proceeded to arrest the 36-year-old for the obvious offenses of possession of burglary tools, possession of drugs, and illegal possession of property.
During the examinations that followed, members of the Police searched the apartment of the 31-year-old, as well as his warehouse, in the apartment building where he lives, where they found a military bayonet, together with its case, two radios, an intercom and a intercom monitor, a typewriter, an emery board, and number of banknotes of various countries.
The items found, as well as the watch found in the suspect's possession, were seized for examination purposes to determine if it was stolen property.
The exams are continued by TAE Limassol, as well as YCAN (Provincial Level of Limassol).
