A proposal for the regulation of a bill regarding the housing policy was submitted to the Parliament, giving a breather to those who want to fix their homes.
Speaking on the "Morning Itinerary" radio show, the president of EDEK Marinos Sizopoulos explained that he proposes a reduced VAT of 5% for houses and apartments up to 150 square meters, whose value will be up to 350.000 euros.
As noted, both criteria must be met, i.e. square meters and value of the building.
200 sqm ceiling and 475.000 euros
However, for larger properties the VAT will be different.
Specifically, for apartments or houses from 151 m200 with covered areas up to 475.000 m19, the value of which will be up to XNUMX euros, XNUMX% VAT will apply.
As clarified, the dominant criterion will be the value of the aforementioned house in order to impose the reduced VAT.
It is noted that it is equally important that it will apply to both apartments and houses, which will favor the owners.
