The Ministry of Health is appealing to volunteer blood donors and those in good health to come to the nearest blood donation centers, as it states, "the need for blood remains high, while the attendance of blood donors is decreasing, mainly due to seasonal viruses."
At the same time, he points out, in a statement, that "many patients continue to need blood and blood derivatives (red blood cells, plasma, platelets) for treatments, surgeries and other medical needs."
For this reason, the Ministry of Health calls on volunteer blood donors and all those who are in good health to take some time and come to the nearest blood donation centers.
