Members of the Police in Limassol arrested a 23-year-old man, as part of an investigation into the theft of a bag containing thousands of euros from a parked car. The car was parked and unlocked in the yard of a house in the district of Limassol.

According to a complaint submitted at 4.00 yesterday afternoon, at the TAE Limassol, around 5.10 yesterday morning, a suspicious person allegedly stole from a car that was parked and unlocked in the yard of the residence of the owner of the vehicle and the money, a shoulder bag that it contained a sum of money amounting to 8,000 euros, as well as various documents. The bag, worth 3,000 euros, was located by members of the TAE Limassol, after information, thrown in an open space, in the area of ​​the residence. The money had been stolen from the bag.

During the investigation of the case, evidence emerged against the 23-year-old suspect. A warrant of arrest was issued against him, under which he was arrested around 7.00:XNUMX last night. He was taken into custody for the purposes of police examinations, with the Limassol Police Department investigating.

The Police, for the purpose of preventing similar incidents of theft, recommends to the public, drivers and passengers of vehicles, that they never leave money or other valuables inside their vehicle, even when it is locked.
