As part of the investigation into the EAC cable theft case, the Police proceeded yesterday on the basis of a court warrant to arrest a person.
He is a 33-year-old man who was taken into custody to facilitate interrogations.
The case under investigation concerns the cutting of five poles of the EAC (land of the village of Agios Mamas in Limassol) and the theft of 900 meters of overhead cable.
The Lania Police Station continues the examinations.
