According to Paphos Assistant Police Director Michalis Ioannou, 66, while hunting in an area of ​​the village of Tsada in a permitted hunting area, he allegedly lost his balance, as a result of which he fired his shotgun and injured his knee.

The 66-year-old boarded his vehicle and went alone to the Accident and Emergency Department of the Paphos General Hospital, where he remained for treatment in the operating room, after suffering a knee injury.

The injured person was visited at the Paphos General Hospital by members of the Paphos ADE and a testimony was received.

According to the hunter, the accident was due to the firing of his weapon and while he was hunting alone, when at some point he slipped.
