An explosion occurred at dawn outside a house in the Tsireiou area, in Limassol. As it turned out, it was due to a grenade thrown on the front porch.
According to the TAE Limassol, the case was reported shortly after 7 this morning by the 63-year-old retired owner of the house, and members of the Police went to the scene for examinations.
As it was established, by a Police pyrotechnician, the explosion was due to a defensive grenade, which was thrown on the front porch of the house.
From the tests and testimony obtained, it was established that the explosion occurred shortly before one in the morning.
The scene was photographed and various items of evidence received for scientific examination.
The amount of damage has not yet been calculated.
