The Police were alerted in the early hours of Wednesday (03/8) when a powerful explosion disturbed the residents of the Monovolikos area in Limassol.
According to information, around 04:00 in the morning, an explosion was heard in the area of Monovolikos and members of the police force rushed to the scene without, however, finding anything suspicious.
However, around 06:00 in the morning, a citizen called the authorities and reported that there was damage to a vehicle. Members of the TAE Limassol went to the area where they found damage to a 41-year-old woman's vehicle.
It is noted that the 41-year-old's vehicle was parked in front of her house, while tests showed that the damage was caused by the detonation of an explosive device.
The TAE Limassol continues the investigations.
