Damage to the main entrance and furnishings of a house, which had not yet been inhabited, was caused by an explosive device, which exploded at dawn, in the Limassol District.
According to the Limassol TAE, the explosion occurred around 3:15 in the house owned by a 34-year-old woman, which is located in a municipal district of western Limassol, but had not yet been inhabited by her and her family.
The scene was cordoned off and preliminary examinations by a pyrotechnician determined that the explosion was due to the detonation of an improvised bomb placed on the floor in front of the main entrance, causing damage to the metal door, as well as minor damage to the furniture.
The Limassol TAE exams continue.
