The President of the Republic, Nikos Anastasiadis, convened an extraordinary meeting at 11:00 in the morning, regarding the cowardly attack that the DIAS band received last night but also about the episodes outside the Presidential Palace.
It is worth noting that the President yesterday in an announcement, condemned the deviations that occurred.
As he said, the unprecedented incidents are a blow to democracy and the rule of law which is not tolerated.
"Lives were threatened and property was destroyed. Most of all, however, the marginal elements thought that they would blackmail our Republic ".
The coordinated state will respond strictly to those who ignore the laws, he added.
