The President of the Republic Nikos Anastasiadis is leaving tomorrow for Brussels, where he will participate in the extraordinary Summit of the European Council.
The main topic of the Synod is Immigration, for which ways to deal with it will be discussed.
During the Immigration debate, President Anastasiades will point out the disproportionate burden shouldered by the Republic of Cyprus, due to the greatly increased immigration flows, at the same time highlighting the instrumentalization of immigration by Turkey.
The European Council will also discuss the developments in Ukraine and issues related to the Economy.
