As part of investigations conducted yesterday at the Central Prisons, a refrigerator was located in a warehouse where items intended for convicts are stored, inside which 14 mobile phones and 12 cables were found.
The found objects were received as evidence, while during the investigation of the case, testimony emerged against three individuals, who appear to have contributed to the transport of the refrigerator into the Central Prisons.
These are men aged 63, 51 and 47, who were arrested on the basis of court warrants and taken into custody for the purposes of investigating the case.
At the same time, the possible involvement of Central Prison inmates in the case is being investigated.
