They were located yesterday, by members of the Police, the three firearms that had been stolen from a house in Paphos, after its burglary, last Tuesday, November 30th.
The three weapons, a G3 HK11 military rifle, a double-barreled shotgun, and a float-type shotgun, were found shortly after 4.00pm on Sunday by members of the Paphos TAE, following information obtained by a member of the of YAM Paphos.
The information stated that in an open field, between the villages of Konia and Agia Marinouda, in the province of Paphos, are located hidden weapons that have been stolen. TAE members rushed to the area, where after an investigation they found the three weapons hidden, which as it turned out were the weapons that had been stolen on Tuesday night, from a house in a village in Paphos province.
The burglary of the house and the theft of the three weapons were reported by their owner, shortly after 11.00 on Tuesday night. According to the information under investigation, the burglary and the theft were committed between 8.00 and 10.00 in the evening of the same day.
A G3 HK11 military machine gun, a number of cartridges and 500 rounds of ammunition, a military backpack with military equipment, a double-barreled shotgun, a float-type shotgun, and a number of cartridges were stolen from the house. Jewelry, a bag with documents, and a bag with fishing items were also stolen.
