Their mean age was 69 years (Intra-Quarter range: 57 - 80 years), with 60,2% (n = 115) concerning men and 35,5% (n = 61) women from the province of Nicosia.

In total, 35 (18,8%) people with COVID-19 reported underlying diseases, while according to the registered data, on February 2, 2022, 37 people (diagnosed until February 1, including those who were transferred or died on February 2) were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) (37%) and 100 people were intubated.

The median age of patients COVID-19 in ICU was 66 years, while 22 cases (68,8%) involved men.

Eight (22,9%) people admitted to the ICU reported underlying diseases, while in the last 14 days, 83.211 molecular tests (PCR) have been performed, ie 9.370,6 per 100.000 population, and 1.364.727 antigen rapid tests. test, ie 53.685,5 per 100.000 population.
