In the last 715 hours, the Police carried out a total of 24 inspections in Cyprus regarding the compliance of businesses and citizens with the ministerial decrees in order to limit the spread of the coronavirus..
According to a representative of the Police Press Office, during the inspections, its members made a total of 5 complaints of premises and 10 complaints of citizens, mainly concerning the use of the protective mask.
More specifically, in the province of Nicosia 80 inspections were carried out and 7 complaints were made by citizens and 2 for premises, in the province of Limassol 227 inspections were carried out without complaint, in Larnaca province 1179 inspections were carried out with a complaint of premises, in the province of Paphos 88 inspections were carried out premises, in Famagusta 3 inspections which resulted in 95 complaints of citizens and in the area of Morfos 3 inspections were carried out without complaint.
In addition, the Port and Maritime Police carried out 30 checks and no violations occurred while at Larnaca Airport it was found that two people did not hold the Cypriot flight card.
