The Council of Ministers today approved the provision of financial assistance to affected farmers.
Specifically, according to a written statement by the Deputy Government Representative, Niovis Parisinou, the payment of financial assistance of a maximum total amount of €50.000 was approved to the affected farmers, due to damage to vegetables, due to adverse weather conditions, mainly in the Akaki area and in the free area of Famagusta.
