After the approval of the Minister of Justice and Public Order, the Chief of Police proceeded with the promotion of Constable 2696 Petros Eleftheriou, to the rank of Sergeant, with effect from today, October 04, 2023.
In addition, the Chief of Police decided to award the Andragathia Medal.
Petros Eleftheriou, lost his life in a traffic collision that occurred on the evening of September 22, 2023, while he was on duty.
Petros joined the ranks of the Cyprus Police on October 2, 1998. He served in various Police posts, most recently Oroklini Police Station
