As part of a coordinated joint operation to force the return of illegal immigrants, which took place yesterday, 25 third-country nationals, who were residing illegally in Cyprus, left for their country.
The joint flight was carried out by the Greek authorities with the cooperation of the FRONTEX Organization and the Aliens and Immigration Service, Police Headquarters.
Since the beginning of the year, 3,320 third-country nationals have been repatriated through voluntary and forced return procedures.
