Yesterday, the Police arrested two persons aged 27 and 22, as part of an investigation into a case concerning conspiracy to commit a felony, illegal possession, use, possession of drugs for the purpose of supply, as well as money laundering.
In particular, members of the National Investigation Agency conducted a search yesterday under a court warrant, in the apartment of the 27-year-old in Limassol.
During the search, eight kilograms of cannabis were located and confiscated, while in the warehouse of the apartment, a quantity of cannabis weighing 20 kilograms and 364 grams was located and confiscated, as well as a quantity of cannabis resin weighing six kilograms and 880 grams.
Also, in the 22-year-old's vehicle, a small amount of cannabis and the sum of 440 euros were found. At the same time, the 27-year-old was found in possession of the sum of 155 euros.
The two suspects were arrested on warrants and taken into custody to facilitate investigations.
