The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ioannis Kasoulidis, is paying a working visit to Prague in view of the Czech Presidency of the EU in the second half of 2022.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Dimitris Dimitriou said in a Twitter post that Kasoulides would meet with Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavski and Czech European Affairs Minister Mikula Beck.
He added that the visit takes place at an early time, in view of the forthcoming Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU.
Mr. Dimitriou has stated in KYPE that during his contacts the Minister of Foreign Affairs will discuss issues concerning the forthcoming Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU and its priorities, current developments at international and regional level, while at the same time informing in relation to way that Nicosia perceives the next steps in the Cyprus issue, through the implementation of the Confidence Building Measures (MOU).
