In Milan to start their return to Cyprus are the 65 students and their six companions from the English School, who were stranded due to landslides in Switzerland after bad weather.

As the Press Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Theodoros Gotsis, told KYPE, late last night it became possible to free up the road network, so the students and their companions traveled by bus to Milan, i.e. where they had originally gone, so that little by little, flights to return to Cyprus.

The students were in Switzerland as part of a school trip.

It is noted that from the first moment the Embassy of Cyprus in Rome, which is also accredited in Switzerland, was in coordination with them so that their return could take place safely.
