The Larnaca Police Department is investigating cases of robberies and assaults with the aim of theft, committed between 21–26 April 2025, in the Larnaca district.
A total of seven incidents were reported, in which young men attacked citizens, using force to remove personal belongings. Two victims suffered physical injuries, while money, electronic devices and other items were stolen.
Based on relevant information, arrest warrants were issued for six individuals of Syrian origin, aged 16–19, of whom five were located and arrested on April 28, 2025, while the sixth presented himself voluntarily in the context of another case.
