The Police have arrested a 38-year-old driver who allegedly attacked and injured a police officer with a shovel in Limassol.
According to the Police, at around 1 am, its members responded to a call regarding the obstruction of a mobile traffic light operator by an unknown driver.
The driver of the vehicle allegedly got out of it and attacked the police officers with a shovel, injuring a police officer in the leg.
He was arrested for flagrant offenses and taken into custody.
