A 69-year-old person is wanted by the Paphos Police for yesterday's case of conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor, assault and causing actual bodily harm to a 46-year-old, owner of a vehicle rental company.
According to the press representative of ADE Paphos and Head of TAE Paphos Michalis Nikolaou, yesterday Monday a 46-year-old, owner of a vehicle rental company reported that at 14:30 p.m. she went to the scene of a traffic accident in the Petridea area as one of the vehicles involved belongs to her company .
As she reported to the Police, she tried to explain to the occupants of the rental vehicle, a man and a woman, that they were responsible for causing the traffic accident from the evidence she gathered. Then according to the complainant, they attacked her, pushing her as a result of which she fell to the ground and while she was on the ground the woman attacked her and punched her. The 46-year-old went to the Department of Accidents and Emergencies of the General Hospital of Paphos where, according to the doctor on duty, she suffered a lumbar spine fracture.
Regarding those involved in the incident, Mr. Nikolaou told KYPE, it is a 69-year-old visitor to Cyprus against whom an arrest warrant has been issued and he is wanted, while the details of the woman who accompanied him have not yet been disclosed. The Paphos Police continue to investigate the case.
