Paphos Police are investigating a case of sending written threats for murder, threat of violence and public insult against a 51-year-old man, who was arrested and detained to facilitate investigations.
According to Paphos Assistant Police Director Michalis Ioannou, a 51-year-old resident of the village of P. Chrysochous was arrested yesterday in the area of Polis Chrysochous, who allegedly sent threats against the life of a 36-year-old man by e-mail for an unknown reason.
The 51-year-old was arrested and taken into custody, while the phone with which he sent the messages was received.
Investigations into this case are ongoing.
