The Audit Service is preparing a report on the presidential aircraft, as its Spokesperson, Marios Petridis, reported to Mesimeri and Kati.
Mr. Petridis noted that the money spent comes from the tax-paying citizen, who, he stressed, should know how much he is paying.
For this reason, the Audit Service is preparing a report, for the preparation of which it has requested data, among other things, on the cost of maintenance, repair, use, fuel, pilot training, etc.
Asked about this, Marios Petridis said that for the purchase of a new aircraft, a cost-benefit study should have been done, something which, according to the data the Service has before it, has not been done.
