"Once again we became a target," said Fanos Leventis, secretary general of the Association of Restaurant Center Owners, speaking on SIGMA's "Front Page" show about the new measures announced yesterday.
Epidemiologists have only recreation centers in their mouths saying that it is spreading, but this has not been proven, he said.
The measure that provides for the closure of recreation centers at 22:30, which was initially implemented in Limassol and Paphos, did not reduce the cases, he noted, but now we are seeing its expansion throughout Cyprus, he added.
Mr. Leventis said that the owners of leisure centers will once again compromise with the measures, respecting public health.
As he said, the owners sent a letter to the President of the Republic and the Ministers, stating that they are ready to cooperate but will have to be financially supported.
The financial support of the recreation centers is one way, he said characteristically.
