False accounts of the EAC were found on Social Media, as stated by the Authority in an announcement.

The EAC clarifies that it does not maintain an account on the Social Network Facebook. The EAC makes this announcement as fake Facebook accounts have been identified bearing the name and identity of the Cyprus Electricity Authority using content that has nothing to do with the Organization's activities.
The EAC has made an official complaint to the Police, and specifically to the Cybercrime Prosecution Service, which will address the issue.
On this occasion, the EAC informs that, in addition to the official website of the EAC www.eac.com.cy, EAC Twitter and LinkedIn accounts have recently been activated, while digital material is also available on the EAC YouTube channel. Aim for the public to be able to see directly the announcements, updates, actions, interesting information and all the news that concern the Organization!
