In total, the Service responded in the last 24 hours to 19 incidents, of which 9 related to fires and 10 to special services, the press representative of the Fire Service, Andreas Kettis, says in a post on the "X" platform.
Specifically, at 01:18 in Nicosia, the Fire Service responded with two staffed fire engines to a fire in two private vehicles parked under a metal shed in an open area in Dali.
He notes that the first vehicle was extensively damaged by the fire, while the second vehicle was damaged in the engine area.
For extinguishing the fire, continues Mr. Water hoses and lifting devices were used in its suspension, while the cause of the fire will be investigated.

According to Mr. Ketti, both vehicles were extensively damaged by the fire. Water hose installations and breathing apparatus were used to extinguish the fire.
