The All-Cypriot Association of Government Doctors (PASYKI) makes a statement about "promiscuity" on the part of the OKYPY in relation to the Pediatric Oncology Clinic at Makarios Hospital.
As he notes, what is being recorded and seeing the light of public, "but also the information we receive from our members, Doctors of the Pediatric Clinic, force us to take a position on the matter, not so much unionistically, as medically".
"Unfortunately, it is clear that the overall attitude shown by OKYpY in the planning phase, as well as its subsequent actions, are characterized by sloppiness and much more far from the best scientific practices", it is added.
The specific practices, the announcement continues, do not surprise us at all, since the Organization "repeats itself, without of course feeling the need to respond".
"Timely detailed updates from the doctors directly involved, as well as from other involved bodies, were considered unnecessary, as a result of which we now hear cries of anguish from parents for the health of their children. Finally, accountability is needed," the announcement concludes.
