The Paphos TAE is investigating a case of conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor, malicious damage, reckless and dangerous driving, threats and insults against two women, aged 27 and 31.

According to the Police and the relevant complaint, on Wednesday, August 24, 2021, a 30-year-old man was driving his car on the old Paphos - Limassol road near the village of Kouklia. According to the allegations of the 30-year-old, at some point on the road, a car driven by a 27-year-old allegedly overtook him dangerously and recklessly, while he tried to stop his course. The vehicle then left the scene.

Then, on his return, the 30-year-old met again the same vehicle, which was driven by the 27-year-old with a 31-year-old woman as a co-driver. Driving dangerously, the 27-year-old turned her car, cutting off the road in both lanes. The two women then got out of the vehicle holding iron bars, knocked and smashed the window of the 30-year-old's car.

The case was reported to the Police, who made a written statement, while the complainant claimed that he received telephone insults from the two women and threats.

Arrest warrants were issued against the two women, they were searched at their place of residence without being identified so far. Investigations into the case are ongoing.
