The need to continue efforts to further strengthen relations between the two countries, as well as to create joint tourism packages for tourism development, was stressed at a meeting of a delegation of the Pancyprian Hoteliers Association (PASYXE) led by President Haris Loizidis, with of Egypt, Amr Hamza.

The Egyptian Ambassador paid a visit to the offices of PASYXE today.

According to a statement issued by PASYXE, during the meeting Greek information was provided about the pandemic period in Cyprus and Egypt and the issues of labor shortage in Cyprus, but also about the fact that Egypt could become a supplier of experienced labor for the tourism industry.

"Both the Ambassador of Egypt and the side of PASYXE stressed the need to continue efforts to further strengthen relations between the two countries, as well as to create joint tourism packages for tourism development," he said.
