Greek Cypriots: We do not want bloodshed at all - We do not want land but justice…
"To the Turkish and Roman people of Cyprus: We bring you Peace, Brotherhood and Freedom".
This message was written, among other things, by the leaflets that were dropped along with the bombs from the Turkish fighters on July 20, the day of the Turkish invasion of Cyprus.
The relevant photos that you can see with the leaflets thrown by the Turks were posted by Ahmet Cavit in the group on Facebook "THE NICOSIA OF NICOSIA YESTERYEARS OF NICOSIA - LEFKOŞA'NIN GEÇMİŞ YILLARI".
At the bottom of the leaflets was the signature of the commander of the "Turkish Peacekeeping Forces in Cyprus".
Turkish Cypriot MEP Niazi Kiziljurek also referred to the issue of the leaflets in an article on the invasion. Among other things, he mentions another message that was written in the leaflets.
