A weak low pressure system is affecting the area. A cold air mass is expected to affect the area on Thursday.
Today the weather will be partly cloudy and later at intervals mainly cloudy and local rains and isolated storms are expected, initially from the southwest and gradually in the remaining areas. The winds will initially blow variable weak, 3 Beaufort, to gradually become mainly southeasterly to southwest weak to moderate and locally moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough. The temperature will rise to around 18 degrees inland and on the coast and around 7 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight the weather will initially be partly cloudy with the possibility of isolated rain or even a storm, however it will soon become mainly clear. Winds will blow mainly northwest to northeast weak, 3 Beaufort, and the sea will be calm to slightly rough. The temperature will drop to around 4 degrees inland, around 9 on the coast and to 1 degree in the higher mountains, where frost is likely to form locally.
On Tuesday, the weather will be mainly cloudy at times and isolated rain or even a storm is expected in the afternoon hours, mainly in the western half of the island.
On Wednesday the weather will be partly cloudy with isolated rains expected at times and a storm in the afternoon, in the eastern half of the island. On Thursday initially isolated rains and snow or sleet are likely in the higher mountains, while the weather will soon become partly cloudy and cold.
The temperature will fluctuate at the same levels on Tuesday and Wednesday, which are close to average climatological values.
It is expected to drop significantly on Thursday.
