Cold gas mass affects the area.
Today the weather will be mostly clear but from time to time there will be locally increased clouds. The winds will initially blow north to northeast, weak to moderate 3 to 4 beauforts to become southwesterly to northwest by afternoon, generally moderate 4 beauforts. The sea will be a little turbulent but initially to the east and north it will be up to turbulent. The temperature will rise to 13 degrees inland, around 15 on the coast and 1 degree in the higher mountains, where locally there will be frost.
In the evening o weather will be partly cloudy. The winds will blow southwesterly to northwesterly, weak to moderate 3 to 4 beauforts but gradually in the wind leaks they will blow up to strong, 5 beauforts. The sea will be a little turbulent and later to the west and north it will be up to turbulent. The temperature will drop to 4 degrees inland, around 6 on the south and east coasts, around 8 on the west and north coasts and to -4 degrees in the higher mountains. Frost is expected in the mountainous and leeward semi-mountainous areas.
On Tuesday the weather will be partly cloudy at times and local rains and isolated thunderstorms are expected. Snowfall is expected in the higher mountains.
Wednesday the weather will initially be partly cloudy with isolated light rains or even light snowfall in the mountains, but gradually it is expected to become mostly clear.
On Thursday the weather will be mostly clear.
The temperature will rise on Tuesday to fluctuate close to the climatic averages. A noticeable drop is expected on Wednesday. Rise is expected again on Thursday.
The height of the snow in Troodos Square, at the time of issuance of the bulletin, was 8 cm.
