A 19-month-old child is being treated at Makareio Hospital, with signs of abuse. His 24-year-old mother was arrested for the case and her 27-year-old partner is wanted.
A complaint before the Limassol TAE was the one that brought about the development of the case, as the 24-year-old mother was summoned to the office on Monday afternoon, in the presence of an Officer of the Welfare Office for the purpose of investigating the complaint.
It was then established that the child had injuries and abrasions and was transported to Makareio Hospital where he was examined by medical examiners and a pediatric surgeon and is being held for treatment.
The 24-year-old mother was arrested, while her 27-year-old partner is wanted.
