The temperature in Cyprus is still high today, with the Meteorological Service issuing a Yellow Warning which will be in force until 5 in the afternoon.
The temperature in some areas will rise up to 42 degrees, at the same time as dust is observed in the atmosphere.
In more detail, today the weather will be clear and warm. The temperature will rise to 42 degrees inland, around 39 on the south and east coasts, around 36 on the west and north coasts and 31 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight the weather will continue to be clear and warm. Temperatures will drop to around 26 degrees inland, south and east coasts, around 22 on the west and north coasts, and around 20 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, the weather will be mostly clear and warm.
Inland and in the mountains, no significant change is expected during the three-day period, while on the coasts, a gradual decline is expected, however, significantly above the average climatic values.
