Siamese testimony on the night of the double murder

Double Murder Double Murder, Sarah Siams

Her relationship with Loizos Tzionis and what was shared before and during the night of the double murder in Strovolos with victims George Chatzigeorgiou and Dina Sergiou, described before the Permanent Criminal Court of Nicosia the former defendant in the case Sara Siams.

"I came here to tell the truth," he said, and in memory of the victims and their minor son. "I want all the weight off me," he continued. Leaving here, Sarah Siams added "to know that I have a clear conscience, that I said everything".

The procedure is carried out under strong security measures, in a crowded room.

The accused addresses the court from the step of the witness which has been placed diagonally to the seat of the judges.

This fact was objected to by the defense lawyers, as it was said that one can not clearly see the expression on her face. However, the Court agreed with the Prosecution that the witness addressed this and that is what will assess her credibility.

The process continues.

Siam was found guilty by the court, following her own confession, of the only charge she faced for conspiracy to commit robbery, for which she was sentenced to four years in prison without parole. She initially denied all charges against her along with the other three defendants and then changed her response to the conspiracy charge of robbery from non-admission to admission, with the Prosecution suspending all other charges she faced.

The accused in the case are Loizos Tzionis, his half-brother Lefteris Solomos and Marios Hadjixenofontos.
