The two helicopters provided by Egypt to help fight the fires in mountainous Limassol are on their way to Cyprus, according to information provided to CNA by the Ministry of Energy.
Specifically, Egypt's Minister of Petroleum, Karim Badawi, who is still with the Minister of Energy, Trade and Industry, George Papanastasiou, has been informed that the two helicopters departed from Port Said, Egypt and are heading towards Cyprus.
They are expected to be in Cyprus in approximately two hours, according to the Ministry of Energy's update.
